46 | (Hi Cheryl. I just happened to come across your page today as my grandfather died last night. His name was Floyd Gosney. Floyd Gosney was my mother’s (Donna Anness) father. He passed away last night 1/7/08 in Florence Kentucky. You may want that information for the genealogy page that you have. I assume we are distant cousins. Are you related to a Brian Yelton or Gary Yelton that went to Boone County. They are between 39 and 41. I am not sure if you are related to them. I am 40. I am the grandson of Floyd Gosney and Betty (Singleton) Gosney. I am also the great grandson of Vera Turner-Reidlin-Miller. Also George Snead and Freda Snead were my aunt and uncles. They are also on your page. http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~yelton/p47.htm Let me know if you have any questions about lineage from any of those people. George Snead was in the Navy and Floyd was a CB (construction Battalion). Both were in World War II. According to your genealogy page, Ora Pope Yelton was my great great grandmother. Therefore we are distantly related. The information on Betty Singleton is incorrect. She died in Florence Kentucky. (Betty Singleton Gosney). She lived in Dilcrest off of US 42 in Florence. She did not die in Missouri. Also I think Frederick Turner died on January 22nd, 1968 as my mother always told me that he died on my birthday. I can confirm that for you if you like. Sincerely, Daryl Anness } | Gosney, William Floyd (I2339)
